The forums exists for a few reasons:
1) To provide an outlet for longform discussions and in-depth debates which doesn't suit discord.
2) To make easier for us to manage bug reports
3) For IC journals and posts
Please be respectful and avoid any spoilers and sensitive in-game, in-character information.
It would be very helpful if players use the forum a lot more than discord. Posts will not be lost, and updates, bug reports, journals, etc, will have a permanent place and never get lost.
Some players may not use Discord so the use of the forum is very beneficial to them as well.
Please encourage players to use the forum!
EDIT: Personally, the Discord is chock full of OOC comments about the in-game gameplay, and far too much meta is spread. Players call it "beta helping" etc, but some of us just want to play in-game without the meta.
